Pain Management

At some time or another we will all experience pain. For most of us this will be a passing thing, as when we stub or toe or get a sunburn, but for others the pain will not stop, ever. This is chronic pain. It is not the same as acute pain. Chronic pain usually serves no biologic purpose and the senselessness of chronic pain often leads to depression.  We treat any kind of chronic pain, from headaches to painful neuropathies of the feet. So no matter what is causing your chronic pain, we have you covered, from head to toe. Some examples of the conditions we treat:

Cancer Pain
Failed Back Surgery Syndrome
Nerve Injury
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome)
Lumbar or Cervical Radiculopathy
Peripheral Neuropathy
Migraine
Chronic Daily Headach
Facial Pain
Chronic Pancreatitis
Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy
Osteoarthritis (Degenerative Joint Disease)
Fibromyalgia
Low Back Pain
Post-Herpetic Neuralgia (Pain after Shingles)
Sacroiliac Joint Pain

These are just some of the conditions we treat. Chronic pain can come from any region of the body and result from multiple diseases and traumas. There are too many sources of chronic pain to be listed here. We make every effort to cure the underlying disease and remove the pain but when that is not possible we manage the result of the disease, the chronic pain. If you suffer from chronic pain we will be happy to review your medical records to see if a consult with us might help.
